These stories won't keep you from crossing the line. But they may help you see it a lot clearer.
And maybe even avoid it.

She was only 17.
The last time I spoke to my daughter, she called me and said, mom, you owe me sixty bucks! I asked her what for. She said it's $10 an A isn't it? I was so proud!!! My beautiful daughter had 6 A's and one B on her report card. That was the last time I talked to her..My underage 17 yr old daughter and two of her underage friends went for a drive in the mountains. Another older person supplied them with a 5th of whiskey. I was told that my daughter was driving, even though she did not own the vehicle. It had rained that day, and the dirt road was muddy, they started to slide, and she over corrected, rolling the vehicle a couple of times. There were no seat belt in the vehicle. My daughter, Jessica, was thrown out of the vehicle and rolled over by it, killed instantly. One of the other kids was severly injured, having to stay in the hospital for months. The owner of the vehile was only hurt slightly. The guy that supplied tham with alcohol? Oh, well he got a wopping 3 day's in jail for supplying alcohol to underage teenagers. No charge of manslaughter. No charge of vehicular manslaughter, murder, or even a parole vialation. ( he was on parole). He has never said I am sorry, please forgive me, or anthing. Three lousy days in jail is all he got. I think my daughters life was worth a heck of alot more than that. That was 2 years ago, before all these new laws and changes. What I would give to have had these laws in effect years ago. Then maybe my Jessica would still be alive.
