We have tried for many years to stop the smoking in the basement of the Herschler Building, but to no avail. This past year The Powers to Be were nice enough to move the smokers to another area of the basement. The problem is that not everyone obeys the rules. We have "No Smoking" signs everywhere. What we would like to see is NO SMOKING allowed in the basement at all. In every other State building the smokers have to smoke outside. At Game & Fish, they can't smoke within I believe twenty yards and their table and ashtrays are out in a field away from the building. If you can't help us, please give us some suggestions. We have many people on oxygen, with asthma and other life threatening illnesses trying to go to work. Thank you for any help you can give us.
